Part-Time Tax Manager

Growing CPA firm in Waukesha has an immediate opening for a Senior Tax Consultant. Due to the upcoming busy season, they would like the Senior Tax Consultant to start immediately. Hours can be full-time, or part-time. Major duties will include:

• Reviewing income tax returns for partnerships, S Corps, C Corps, and individual business owners, then passing the returns off to the partners for their sign off
• Reviewing fixed assets

• Reviewing foreign income tax returns
• Submit all state income tax returns
• Review property tax returns and manage property tax audits
• Preparing corporate income tax provision
• Oversee state income tax, property tax and sales and use tax audits
• Document technical tax and income tax accounting positions
• Assist in tax planning and tax research
• Manage the tax compliance process including preparing tax returns
• Automate tax accounting and tax provision by programming custom tax calculations
• Prepare federal consolidated income tax return
• Use tax returns, sales and use tax research
• Use tax, and other indirect tax returns and manage related tax audits
• Ensuring that state income/franchise tax returns
• Prepare highly complex federal income tax returns
• Develop corporate income tax staff
• Provide managerial support for income tax accounting, tax compliance and tax research projects
• Assist in federal income tax audits
• Use tax oversight and property tax filings
• Develop tax supervisor and tax staff accountant
• Manage domestic income/franchise tax, property tax and sales and use tax audits
