Summary:Our client is a well established plumbing and heating company looking for a Customer Service Rep/Dispatcher to join their team. The first part of the day, you would be in the Customer Service department handling incoming calls, the second half of the day you will be working in the Service Dispatch area working with the technicians. Shift/Hours: M-F Rotating schedule 8:00 to 4:30 or 8:30 to 5:00

Description:

Customer Service:
1. Answering phones from customers professionally and responding to customer inquiries and complaints using approved inbound call scripting.
2. Attracts potential customers. Greets customer on the phone and in person with a smile on your face, a warm tone of voice is important for securing good customer relations.
3. Return and/or set up after hours calls from night before prioritizing calls
4. Receives inbound service phone calls from customers addressing issue and schedules call in a timely manner. Maintains a high close rate.
5. Makes outbound phone calls for the purpose of generating work. Contacts the customer after job completion for interview of work flow - "Happy Calls". Places calls to wholesale companies for order placement.
6. Outbound calls for HCC, CMM, & RPZ's maintenance programs
7. Interacting by phone with the customers to solicit order for services or goods.
Dispatch:
1. Dispatcher must first listen to what a Technician is saying and show him you understand what he means before you try to get your point across. The Dispatcher is to treat Technicians with impeccable respect and courtesy. Admit when they are right.
2. Dispatch needs to make communication happen. 3. Make Decisions that are Win, Win.
4. Dispatch all service calls taken for the day. Schedule future sold jobs.
5. Dispatch only one call at a time during regular hours. Do not let Technicians know the daily schedule.
6. Place calls with technicians based on expertise first, then base on geography and time frames.

Requirements:

1. Professional telephone & listening skills
2. Professional verbal and written communication skills.
3. Must be able to multi task
4. Must be flexible! Change is constant in the Service Department
5. Must work well under pressure
6. Must be able to change and shift gears quickly
7. Must have an excellent sense of priorities
8. Strong team player
9. Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
10. Ability to type 50 or more words per minute/High Data Entry and accuracy
11. Personally committed to and engaged in ongoing growth and development both personally and professionally.
