Summary:

Our valued client, a local leader within the insurance industry, is hiring a full-time Customer Support Coordinator! The ideal candidate will have a high level of sensitivity, professionalism and responsiveness in all interactions. This is a remote temporary opportunity and the schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Candidates must live in the Madison area due to the eventual return to in-office work in downtown Madison. This position offers $18.19 an hour, based on experience, and is expected to last for 6 months. Please apply online today for consideration!

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to company's preneed and final expense marketing partners, agents, and funeral homes working in their active sales line
  • Assist in meeting company objectives for both annual sales and being recognized as the leader in the preneed marketplace
  • Demonstrate advanced customer service skills, conveying professionalism, flexibility and empathy
  • Learn and maintain advanced knowledge of preneed, final expense, and other insurance products
  • Other duties as business needs require
Qualifications:
  • HS diploma or equivalent required
  • Intermediate knowledge of ID3, SalesForce.com, Onbase is a plus
  • 3 years of customer service or sales experience in an office environment is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that convey confidence
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to transform negative interactions into positive ones
  • Ability to learn quickly and adeptly handle issues that arise even when unfamiliar
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
  • Strong initiative with the ability to work under minimal supervision; able to exercise good judgment and creatively solve problems or issues
  • High level of team and goal orientation with the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the requirements for service availability
  • Business casual environment when in the office
  • Must be willing to submit to a 7 year background check
