Electrical Engineer, Sr.
In this role, you will design, develop, plan, and select components for electromechanical and electronic control systems, assists in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration products and systems. We are looking for are an experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer with solid experience in large control panel layout who has a strong manufacturing background and previous experience leading engineering design projects or teams.
Your work will lead the industry in environmentally responsible refrigeration systems. The work is primarily conducted onsite, with some flexibility to work from home. Direct hire position in the Northern Minneapolis suburbs. For immediate consideration apply online.
Responsibilities:
  • Researches, designs, develops, plans, and selects components for electromechanical, electronic control systems
  • As Sr. Engineer, lead engineering activities related to fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration products and systems.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and technicians throughout the development cycle
  • Technical training of engineering and technician team
Requirements:
  • BSEE or similar
  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Experience with electrical panel layout
  • Experienced in schematic design
  • Experienced in ladder logic programming
  • Experienced in system testing and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and UL (508a & 1995), as well as best practices for control panel design
  • Previous engineering supervision or technical lead experience
  • A strong understanding of electrical power distribution principles and design as well as an ability to learn the application and implementation of VFD's for motor control is desired.
  • Electrical CAD/SolidWorks Electrical experience preferred.
