Job Title: Metal Stamping/Shop Helper/Unloading Trucks
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: White Bear Lake, MN
Shift/Hours: 1st Shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday thru Friday
Career Level: 1 or 3 years of experience
Salary: $15.00
Description:
Run a metal stamping machine (will train)
Operate finishing machines in a productive and safe manner to product parts that meet quality requirements
Detap and deburr parts using various styles and machines upon direction from laser lead or fabrication supervisor
Detab and deburr lasered components using various techniques
Grind on various materials with guidance.
Accurately identify different parts and package accordingly
Provide status and counts of defective parts
Follow required procedures and use appropriate tooling to setup up each machine for the job as needed
Use a variety of machines in the grinding/finishing department including polishers, sanding instruments, polishing wheels, buffing wheels, and straight lining machines
Log into JobBoss time system to accurately clock in and out of jobs
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Approach all tasks and daily activities with a positive, "can do" attitude and morale
Willing to cross train in various areas and support other shop floor team members
Metal shears, band saw, and metal fabrication experience
Physical Requirements:
Minimal lifting (1 to 5lbs parts)
Stand and sit at machines
