As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Analyst, you will be an individual contributor in our Legal, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance group. You will research, document and assist on mandatory reporting and license filings. This is the challenge of a lifetime. Join us by applying today.This position is responsible for mandatory regulatory reporting, network filings, license filings and related filings. In addition to reporting, the position will support individual health insurance exchange related filings, network related filings, utilization review license, third-party administrator, agency and other licenses or business registrations required for business operations. This role will have a high level of interaction with external regulators and internal clients for mandatory reports and license filings. If you are an internal candidate, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Preparing and submitting state mandated reports Preparing and submitting license applications and license renewal submissions Preparing and submitting network related agreements and reports Communicating with state regulators and internal clients Working together with compliance, finance, clinical services and other departments to prepare mandated reports, license applications, and renewals Researching new reporting and license requirements Dealing with confidential information Drafting and maintaining various status tables, research charts and databases You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: To be considered for this position, applicants need to meet the qualifications listed in this posting. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience working in health care, managed care and/or health insurance 2+ years of experience with claims, regulatory affairs, compliance or finance Experience responding to inquiries from a variety of stakeholders (external customers, executives and regulators) If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders Preferred Qualifications: Paralegal degree Experience with SERFF filing process Experience in legal and internet research Experience working with regulators Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to deal with multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to work well with others Ability to coordinate projects Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
