Participate in reverse engineering competitor products Utilizing technical skills to provide engineering solutions for product challenges Managing test activities for multiple programs Contribute knowledge and experience with risk mitigation tools like DFMEA, and FEA. Work closely with CAD designers to refine designs and product drawings Manage aspects of project timing, sequencing and cadence. Working closely with manufacturing as the engineering voice on production process changes Working with suppliers to provide engineering guidance on component and equipment updates

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

BSME 6+ months experience in design engineering or mechanical engineering 6+ months understanding of fluid flow and modeling 6+ months experience and knowledge of GD&T, FEA, and CFD Demonstrated hands on work and aptitude HUGE preference to have someone from automotive or from Mich Tech. Other preferences would be interest or background in cars, tractors, vehicles, transportation, automotive. Preference given for experience in developing products to meet requirements of OEM's in areas of fluid handling, filtration, or diesel engines Demonstrated technical leadership and project management skills in a cross functional environment Strong technical and analytical skills, experience in part and assembly design, GD&T, tolerance stack up, and analyzing and interpreting FEA and CFD numerical analysis results. Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels. Knowledge of DFSS and Lean Practices DFMEA
