DescriptionWe are seeking a creative, forward-thinking, and organized Content Marketing and Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing team. In this position You will create consistent, meaningful content for use across multiple channels to increase brand awareness and support Marketing campaign efforts. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:CONTENT CREATIONWrite, create, edit, and publish content (original text, images, video, layout) that is informative, builds meaningful connections and encourages audience engagement across multiple channels (social media, e-mail, website, collateral, events, etc.) to support business strategy and goalsWork with internal teams and Subject Matter Experts to create benefit-driven communications for internal and external audiencesDistribute content to the appropriate channels, both internal and externalSOCIAL MEDIAContribute to and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identificationOwn and manage the editorial social media calendarAttracts and interact with community to increase engagement and website traffic through the social media roadmapUnderstand social media metrics; interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of marketing campaignsOptimize the company's social media platforms to increase the visibility of our social contentCreate social content that increases the visibility of our brandMARKETING GENERALCollaborate with marketing team to coordinate brand awareness and affinity across all platforms, externally and internallyDevelop ideas for, and contribute to, creative marketing campaigns while undertaking individual marketing plan tasksQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSProven working experience in content generationExcellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skillsAbility to take technical information and turn it into a compelling storyNatural affinity for social and digital platformsKnowledge of online digital marketing and good understanding of major marketing channelsSolid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software and applicationsA positive attitude, well-organized, and detail and consumer-oriented, with good multitasking abilityBasic to intermediate use of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Photoshop)EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, New Media or Public Relations.3 to 5 years' experience working in a content and social media role Experience working in telecommunications or other technical field is preferred but not requiredLANGUAGE SKILLSThe employee must have good knowledge of MLA, AP, and APA format with exceptional grammar and good writing skills.KGPCo is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer of females, minorities, veterans and disabledKGP2018
