The IT Audit Analyst is responsible for coordinating and driving the planning and execution of Information Technology (IT) audits. These efforts can involve projects of varying complexity and scope covering all aspects of the IT organization including: IT General Controls testing, Information Security Controls testing, financial processing, regulatory, operational, and compliance. This position will report to the IT Audit General Manager.

Our main priority continues to be the health and safety of our employees. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this position will be remote until further notice. We will continue monitoring the circumstances and when we feel comfortable, this position will return to the office in Eden Prairie, MN where you will have an opportunity to collaborate face-to-face with a talented and diverse group of peers.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, including annual Information Security, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing, SSAE18, HIPAA as well as additional control frameworks
  • Continuous Process Improvement around
    • Control frameworks and control coverage
    • Audit methods, procedures and audit data management
    • Findings remediation
  • Execute audit procedures for both corporate IT and regional IT with objectivity and professionalism. Using a risk-based methodology, conduct interviews, review process and transaction flows, detailed testing of transactions, making inquiries and observations and analyzing results
  • Assessing compliance with policies and procedures through continuous auditing
  • Analyzing and assessing compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Making professional judgments based on observations and supporting information
  • Developing audit findings and recommendations, as well as developing and sharing best practice recommendations
  • Participating in special projects (e.g., investigations, executive/leadership projects)
  • Vendor management
  • Interact with a high degree of professionalism, reasonableness and integrity in order to partner, gain trust and influence across the IT organization

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, CS or commensurate experience
  • 3+ years auditing or related risk management experience in an enterprise environment
  • Experience auditing within an Enterprise IT environment
  • Willing to travel-approx. 5% of time
  • Strong oral communication, business writing, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Demonstrated Vendor Management abilities
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule in order to meet changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a small team environment
  • Ability to work with confidential information with a high degree of integrity
  • Ability to research and adapt to regulatory changes that may impact CHR's operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Public Accounting experience
  • Language skills are a plus
