**Description:**We're looking for a Data Center Engineer with a heavy electrical background to join a growing and stable team onsite at a large corporate headquarters. Directly supporting a Tier 3 critical data center facility, this individual will be maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems.**These systems include:**-Electrical (lighting, UPS, PDU, emergency generators, primary switch gear), emergency backup systems and hot water systems;-Monitors operation, adjusts, and maintains refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment;-Boilers, fire/life safety, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) and ventilating and hot water heaters;-Pumps, valves, piping and filters;Candidates will also be helping on the building automation system, HVAC systems and electrical issues.Additional duties:??? Install, repair, and maintain electrical controls, switching and motor controls.??? Install and repair plumbing/piping/tubing; wire single and three phase motors (single & two speed);.??? Operate and maintain critical equipment including UPS systems, generators, chillers and critical air conditioning units.??? Responsible for keeping records of buildings rounds and readings, all engineering logs and engineering data sheets.**Skills:**Operating engineer, Building engineer, Data Center, electrical, HVAC, EPA, BAS, Johnson controls, boiler, chiller, AHU, CRAC, VAV, CRAH, Data Center Operations**Top Skills Details:**HVACElectrical Troubleshootingmechanical repairsgeneratorselectrical**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**Minimum Requirements:-5 years of Electrical and HVAC experience in a commercial setting-Universal EPA minimum-Journeyman or Master MN Electrician license-2+ years hands-on experience in a data center/critical facility, including UPS Systems, emergency generators, and switchgear-Must have strong computer skills in all aspects of MS OFFICE, BMS controlsPreferred:-All candidates will need to register for the MN registered, non-licensed electrical certification (just an application and a $40 fee, no testing)-Data center experience is highly preferred.**Experience Level:**Expert Level**About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
