This job will provide design assistance for moderately complex engineering assignments including products, parts, components, or portions of major projects. Has ability to make engineering drawings and read and interpret prints. The technical skills include the ability to make sketches and engineering drawings and have experience using computer applications related to the engineering field.location: Stoughton, Wisconsinjob type: Contractsalary: $22.42 - 35.11 per hourwork hours: 7am to 3pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:+ Sketch outline designs and use computer-aided design for detailed design, generating parts lists and specifications Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas.+ Consult with the marketing department about upgrading the product, failures in service and reducing the cost.+ Consult with the development engineers about new products and the application of novel technology.+ Consider various factors of engineering drawings or diagrams, including use of the product, its environment, materials, the economics of production, safety, legal requirements, quality, production requirements, cost and ease of maintenance**Position Requirements:**+ Bachelors' degree in engineering required+ 2-4 years' experience required+ Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability+ Team player and detail oriented+ Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and complete common computations+ Ability to read and interpret prints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports+ Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD)+ Areas that the manager would prefer experience in:+ Model and create drawings in Creo (or other relevant CAD software)+ Windchill (recommended)+ FEA and CFD capabilities (useful) with Sheet metal design, Welding\#LI-VG1qualifications:+ Experience level: Experienced+ Minimum 4 years of experience+ Education: Bachelorsskills:+ Mechanical Engineering+ CADEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
