Job Information

The incumbent performs diversified duties involving an intensive knowledge of Bills of Materials and Engineering Change Order Systems, requiring the use of a wide range of processes and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for generating, checking, maintaining, and releasing BOMs, Option Logic Diagrams / Compatibility Documentation and Engineering Change Processes. Requires independent thinking and the use of judgment to interpret and analyze facts and circumstances surrounding individual problems and transactions.



Role & Responsibility

??? Perform repetitive, routine and semi-routine duties involving the use of numerous established procedures involving technical detail and variations. Requires the making of contingency decisions and the use of good judgment

??? Notify overseas locations of Engineering Change actions affecting their products

??? Process and maintain Engineering Drawing viewable files into the Global PLM system for worldwide users.

??? Insure proper loading and release of Product VIN / Serial number Data within the Item Master

??? Support Operation's ECO Coordinator / Lead to resolve problems and develop improvements of process flow of Engineering Change releases

??? Provide technical support to other departments such as Assembly, Marketing, Quality, Procurement, Accounting, and IT to answer questions, resolve problems, and establish procedures

??? Comply with Information Security Standards and ISO 9001 Procedures and Work Instructions.

??? Support Engineering Change Requests

??? Assist with assigned aspects of Engineering relating to Doosan Bobcat product lines

??? Develop and maintain good working relationship with team members within Engineering and from other departments

??? Complete all "Attribute Change Requests" in Oracle as submitted by global users

??? Provide user training on Global PLM Engineering Change process

???Departmental administrative duties related to purchase orders as needed



Job Requirement

  • Education: Associates Degree - Any (Allow Equivalent)
  • Thorough understanding of the Engineering and Operation's MRP and ECO Systems (Wind-chill, ESI, WebPIMS, and Oracle) and ability to apply that knowledge in daily work assignments
  • Excellent PC skills and demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Close attention to detail and data entry accuracy is essential
  • Must have the ability to deal with the following types of problems:
    • Solving product ECO release and Product Structure problems
    • Multi-tasking and dealing with priority scheduling conflicts
    • Supporting and assisting Designers/Engineers/Management
    • Willing to learn and apply the latest technology to improve current processes
    • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision
    • Communicate and report clearly and effectively at all levels
