Manufacturing Engineering Process Improvement Technician

This full time, permanent Manufacturing Engineering Process Improvement Technician career opportunity is a newly-created role at a growing company that promotes from within. This employer seeks out employees that are looking to grow their careers. This position could grow into an Operations Manager or progress more into transformer design, if those are areas of interest. The company is very employee-friendly and provides a shorter workday on Fridays.

The duties are varied and employees are challenged and not stuck in one area. This position is not a sit at desk and look at a computer all day. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

• Supporting the shop floor
• Developing manufacturing efficiencies
• Being responsible for developing fixtures as needed
• Being responsible for developing gauges
• High level product testing

The background of the successful candidate will include the following:

• Two years of Manufacturing Engineering/Process Improvement Engineering experience
• An independent, self-starter
• Experience working with a variety of duties
• CAD experience
• An engineering degree
