Due to Expansion and continued growth of our malting facility in Manitowoc WI, we are currently searching for individuals to operate food processing equipment such as roasting, packaging, and various equipment utilized in the malting process.


Positions will be rotating and will include weekend work. Example: During a 6 week period, individuals will be scheduled for 4 weeks on 1st shift, 1 week on 2nd, and 1 week on 3rd shift.

Starting salary of $20.35/hr (+$.35 shift premium). Progressive increases at 6 and 12 months to $22.35/hr (+$.35 shift premium). Weekend work is compensated at 1.5 pay.



Job Requirements:

Job Duties Include:

  • Weigh, measure, mix and pack material in accordance with formulas as required.
  • Operate fork lift to move product between warehouse inventories and manufacturing cells.
  • Load/unload bulk products and transfer product to/from storage at other plants with tractor and or truck (as applies).
  • Operate processing equipment in multiple areas as needed,either singly or in sequence in accordance with prescribed procedures and instructions to meet product specifications and standards.
  • Product sampling and specified lab analysis as it pertains to a given operation.
  • Fill out production, inventory, receiving and sanitation records.
  • Perform sanitation activities as needed
  • Perform light maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor and diagnose operating problems and make adjustments or minor repairs to meet final specifications.
  • Read, understand and follow work orders when doing all of the above.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings.
  • Adhere to all government and company safety, sanitation and GMP policies and regulations.
  • Support manufacturing, customer service and sales as required.

Job Requirements

Experience in food plant sanitation and GMP are preferable. Forklift certification desired. Ability to lift 50lbs. Conformance with Good Manufacturing Practices as specified by plant policies.

* Amount Allowed for Medical $2,650 per calendar year
