Title: Solution Architect
Reports to: Engineer Lead
Our group of companies, under the ACS umbrella, is currently establishing a number of innovation centers around the globe for the research and development of critical technologies to address our broad range of operations and enable our digital transformation. We are leveraging advancements in IOT, AI and machine learning to enhance productivity, reduce risks, protect workers and develop future business opportunities.
Role and Responsibilities: We are looking for an innovative Solution Architect to develop and implement systems architecture that will meet business needs. The Solution Architect's responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current software systems in place to identify areas in need of improvement, and overseeing development teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and integrate information systems to meet the company's needs.
- Assess the systems architecture currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions.
- Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their proper execution.
- Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.
- Propose and establish framework for necessary contributions from various stakeholders.
- Continually research current and emerging technologies like IOT, Computer Vision, AI, ML and propose changes where needed.
- Resolve technical problems as they arise.
- Inform various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
- Asses the business impact of certain technical choices.
- Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5-7 years proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
- Previous project management experience in an agile environment.
- In-depth understanding of coding languages (Java, JavaScript, C#, Python)
- Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases
- Highly efficient/ effective communication skills
- Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
