Business Analyst - Senior

Description:

Our client l is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to support technology delivery across our Investment Products and Services business unit.

The role requires understanding of the business (brokerage and advisory) and technical landscape and the ability to drive solutions to deliver consistent business value.

This individual will work closely with project resources, business and operations SMEs, engineers, and vendors to deliver new and enhanced functionality in a mixed-methodology environment.

A good foundation of business and technical fundamentals should be complemented by soft skills in building relationships, influencing without authority, communicating effectively, sense of urgency, ability to pivot and adapt to meet demands of high pace and challenging environment, navigate competing interests, eliciting and documenting requirements, critical problem-solving skills, and working toward shared goals. Champion for prioritization and sequencing will be critical for this role.

5-7 solid years of BA experience is required.

Perform business analysis for medium to large business (Investment Products and Services-IPS) enabling for technology implementation efforts. Work closely with business SMEs, cross-functional teams, and technology vendors to understand and define impacted users and workflows, create and maintain use and test cases, and develop functional requirements for new system enhancements and associated workflows.

Support the Lead Business Analyst or Project Manager in facilitating accurate communication of needs, concerns, inter-dependencies, risks, and issues among the business stakeholders, engineering, operations, and the vendors.

Work closely with the Program Management Office to ensure adherence to expected scope, schedule, and cost plans, clearly communicating any risks and contributing to status updates.

Must have:

• 5-7 solid years of BA experience is required
• Excellent BA skills, business knowledge (brokerage and advisory), communication skills and business-partner empathy
• Ability to effectively understand/capture business needs and translate to requirements, and analyze options.

Nice to have:

• Role leans heavy to business side vs. technical but systems experience a plus
• Investments and Wealth Management experience is preferred!

Schedule:

Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
May require occasional weekend work.
