Position: Electrical Engineer
Location: Waukesha, WI
Duration: 6+ months with extension
Due to covid-19, it will be remote for now. Post covid-19 consultant should work onsite.

Qualification:
1.Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2-5 years relative work experience in power electronics and analog system design.
2.Demonstrated ability to design and debug power, analog and digital bench level test setups. Must be familiar with common power semiconductor components.
4.Demonstrated experience in MATLAB or equivalent simulation/modeling tool.
5.Working knowledge of project management processes and procedures.
6.Power Circuit design and simulation tool experience.
7.Schematic capture experience.
8.Working knowledge of PWA board bring-up and system integration experience.

Responsibilities:
Write detailed functional specifications that document designs and support product introduction.
Evaluate power hardware in MR gradient driver systems.
Provide technical support to team throughout product development and implementation process, inclusive of managing supplier and engineering change notices
Test and verify hardware to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements, by recording and analyzing test data
Construct models and simulations to prove out design concepts; Model, build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with simulation
Capture electrical design schematic using an ECAD system (Cadence).
Engaging in all phases of new product introduction: concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support
History of continuous development of core competencies in power electronics signal field.
