Job Description Workday continues to build out a high performing Global Education organization and is looking for an experienced Education Business Development Manager to help grow our Education business in North America. As an Education Business Development Manager, you'll be the key conduit between our Education team and our field sales and services teams within North America. You will partner with our field teams to represent Education in all phases of the sales cycle, supporting both sales to new customers and additional sales to existing Workday customers. In addition you will work closely with our Workday Education marketing, operations and business development teams to execute on strategies to drive existing customers to appropriately utilize Workday Educations' training offerings. You will have a deep understanding of Workday Education's training offerings and will be consultative with our prospects and customers on how best to take advantage of all we have to offer. Your responsibilities: Partner with sales teams to ensure that Education is appropriately represented in all sales conversations. Collaborate with professional services Business Development teams to align the training solution with the professional services required for a customer to deploy Workday. Analyze the North America sales pipeline to identify key training opportunities Assist in forecasting training demand based on the North America sales pipeline Support customer requests for guidance around training recommendations both directly with customers and through Workday's customer facing teams. Rollout new Workday Education programs to Workday's customers and customer facing teams. Assist Workday Education Marketing in developing campaigns Point of contact for Education contract negotiations from North America based customers Serve as a key escalation point for customer satisfaction issues. Knowledgeable of Workday Education's systems Requirements for a successful application 5+ years in a Business Development, Education, or Professional Services sales role Passion for customer service Experience selling to customers in an overlay or channel sales role Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience Ability to analyze data, reports and dashboards and a willingness to "dive into" systems and formulate new and better ideas on how to better support stakeholders Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across corporate and field functions (Sales, Business Development, Customer Services, Operations) Ability to travel up to 20%
