RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Non-IT Project Manager in Minneapolis, MN. Summary: This is not an IT Project Manager or Technical Project Manager role, rather responsible for managing 2-5 Business Line projects or 1-3 projects that cross several Business Lines. Typically works with Senior Business Line management to formulate project scope and manages project teams between 6-20 stakeholders. Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects. Additional responsibilities include:- Directs and monitors project activity for assigned functional areas
- Participates in meetings and task force activities to identify project goals, gains consensus on project steps, schedule and implementation procedures and estimates project costs; fosters cooperation and involvement from support team
- Interviews users to identify and analyze needs; develops a project plan and provides input to recommendations for request and/or problem resolution
- Identifies internal and/or external resources to ensure successful project completion in accordance with user needs
- Prepares project status reports; makes alterations in project plan as needed
- Assists with or prepares project implementation steps and documentation as appropriate; ensures a smooth implementation of project; resolves problems
- Participates in training users as applicable
- Participates in project evaluation against estimated plans and costs; provides continuing support and service as required
- Manages performance of project team and evaluates overall performance
- Work with internal teams, product and technology teams, and external vendors translating business needs into requirements
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
- PMP a plus
- 10 or more years of experience in project management activities
- Considerable knowledge of 2 or more of these Specialty Default areas: Repossessions, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Recovery, Real Estate Owned property
- Familiarity with FNMA (Fannie Mae), FHLMC (Freddie Mac), Black Knight Financial and MSP
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Thorough knowledge of project and/or program management
- Experience with MS Project preferred and strong knowledge using MS Office Suite
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
- Demonstrated leadership skills and proven initiative
- Experience with Waterfall methodology
