Executive Director

The League of Women Voters of Dane County (LWVDC) is a local, non-profit, non-partisan organization whose purpose is to promote informed and active participation of citizens in government at all levels.We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to provide strategic leadership for the organization.This is a new position, building on our long history of volunteer leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively with the board, as well as our passionate and committed volunteers, to further enhance our mission and programs and to ensure that LWVDC is operating efficiently and effectively.To learn more about our organization, visit requirements for this position include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field (or equivalent professional/management experience), 3-5 years management experience (nonprofit organization preferred), track record in fund development, and excellent communication skills.Please note that candidates must possess a strong commitment to the nonpartisan mission of LWVDC and a proven ability to be a role model for our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) philosophy.
