Information Technology Intern

Minnkota Power is seeking qualified student for an Information Technology Intern at our Grand Forks, ND based headquarters location. Grand Forks is a growing and progressive city with many recreational opportunities.
This internship opportunity will run from June through August 2021.
Wage for this internship will be based on educational status and relevant experience. The wage range is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour. This is a non-benefited position.

The individual will assist department personnel in the following:

• Cyber Security and Compliance
• Network Design
• System Support and Administration
• Application Security and Administration
• Policy and Procedural Documentation

This position reports to the Information Technology Manager

Good oral and written communication skills are essential. Relocation expenses may be provided.
The physical/mental/environmental demands of this position requires frequent sitting and use of computer/keyboard, occasional standing, walking, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Requires good finger dexterity, ability to perform close work, good hearing and color vision and the ability to speak. Requires the ability to analyze data, conduct research, implement recommendations, develop plans and goals, present information to others and work under pressure of time constraints. Over 50 percent of the day is spent in an office environment. Individual must possess a valid driver's license.
