Senior Accountant

Adecco is currently hiring for a contract Senior Accountant. The role with be 6-12 months long at a company in Janesville, WI. We are open to remote candidates for this position.
Work will be completed on a 1st shift, and pay is between $35 and $40 and hour based on experience. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for this temporary accounting position!
This position is primarily responsible for financial and tax reporting and SOX compliance. Following are the primary duties:

Performs account reconciliations in accordance with company accounting policies.

Maintains general ledger for accurate financial reporting.

Provides support to the Accounting Manager and Site Controller.

Provides support to department managers regarding forecasts and actuals including department spend, absorption, revenue, and margin.

Performs fixed asset accounting and maintains fixed asset records.

Performs weekly orders and revenue analysis.

Leads SOX compliance testing and documentation.

Assists in the monthly P&L and BS forecasting process.

Assists in sales and use tax reporting.

Assists in internal and external audit schedule preparation and coordination.

Assists in completing templates required for income tax compliance.

Completes monthly and quarterly financial schedules and reporting.

Completes HFM reporting.

Maintains statistic reporting and KPI reporting.

Assists in accounting for service business including performing profitability analysis.

Ensures company's compliance with corporate revenue recognition requirements and processes.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a four-year college or technical school.

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field.

CPA is preferred.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is required, AX experience is a plus.
