Masking Technician - 1st shift - 4 day work weeks! Must have minimum of 3 years experience, ability to read mechanical (parts) blueprints, and have leadership skills. $500 signing bonus!

Avtec Finishing, provides quality metal finishing to our customers, in a timely manner. We are busy and need to find an enthusiastic recruit that takes an interest in managing the parts provided by our customers with a sense of urgency and an eye on quality. This is a critical and hands on position. Previous experience preferred.

Position Duties - General:

The purpose of the position is to add plugs, film or paint to parts before they get dipped into the processing tanks. What are we looking for? Someone that wants to earn a good living, while providing our customers with quality finished parts that get delivered on time. Smart, energetic, hardworking, dedicated, with a can-do attitude and an awesome attendance record. An employee that will actively participate in protecting our reputation for high standards.

Every employee plays an important role in our success. The working conditions would be similar to that of a warehouse or manufacturing industry - with exposure to heat, humidity, dust, and noise. We provide a regulated, safe/healthy environment for our employees.

Proud to offer a compensation package that includes a good wage, benefits, paid holidays, PTO, regular reviews, attendance rewards, bonuses, free uniforms, and more!

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous Masking experience required (minimum of 3 years)
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Show up EVERY day. (Attendance is CRUCIAL!)
  • Pass Basic math and finding measurements on a ruler test (IMPORTANT!)
  • Attention to detail is CRITICAL
  • Able to read mechanical blueprints
  • Ability to handle large quantities of small/delicate parts, individually - finger dexterity
  • Can work independently, as a team, even provide leadership in a diverse environment.
  • Willing to take direction, follow procedures, and learn
  • Ability to stand, reach, bend, and have hand dexterity for long periods of time.
  • Follow safety procedures to avoid injuries.
  • Can fluently speak, understand, read, and write English.

First Shift: 5am-3pm Monday-Thursday (overtime as directed)... 4 day work weeks!

Pay Rate: $16.50 - $22 Based on Experience and Qualifications
