Summary

The Salesforce Developer will develop and design technologies which enhance the experience of our users and customers. They will be eager to apply existing knowledge to complex problems and scenarios while being open to identifying and implementing ever-changing best practices in the development lifecycle. Must be local to Milwaukee, WI area

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and write test classes with a focus on utilizing Apex and Lightning Web Components
  • Develop integrations with external systems utilizing modern Web APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc...)
  • Develop triggers which may utilize Custom Settings, Custom Metadata, etc.
  • Develop and maintain a reliable pipeline, repository, and pipeline process
  • Enhance existing code and test classes with a focus on security and stability
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs, and reduce technical debt
  • Conversion of Visualforce/Apex into Lightning Web Components where warranted
  • Work with Salesforce Administrator to move existing / incoming development requests into Flows where feasible
  • Understand and absorb new Salesforce features/best practices during new product release and acquisitions


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Salesforce development experience. (2+ years with architecture experience preferred)
  • Experience working in Sales Cloud (Service Cloud, CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, etc. all preferred)
  • Experience converting from Classic to Lightning
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire (Platform Developer II / JavaScript Developer I preferred)
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API calls (understanding of OpenAPI/Swagger would be a plus)
  • Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, etc. experience required
  • Comfortable creating Triggers and Development utilizing Custom Settings, Custom Metadata, etc.
  • Strong SOQL skills
  • Develop and optimize processes across multiple business systems
  • At least 2 years of experience in Salesforce Development Lifecycle (Agile Methodology) including Deployment/Packaging, using Metadata API, ChangeSet and Ant
  • Strong requirement gathering skills and an understanding enduser needs with an ability to translate those into concise technical requirements
  • Selfstarter with strong problem-solving skills; ability to assess the desired solution or problem and determine the most effective and sustainable course of action
  • Work with Salesforce Administrator to decide when and how much development is needed
  • Real Estate and/or SaaS experience preferred
