We are seeking a Manager, Hospital Development & Community Outreach to:

Lead the strategic implementation and management of UW Organ and Tissue Donation HD/CO programs.
Oversee UW OTDs compliance with Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO), United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), and all other regulatory agencies with regard to hospital development and community outreach. Education:

Minimum Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing or other relevant field.

Preferred Masters degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing or other relevant field.

Work Experience:

Minimum Three (3) years of management experience or progressively responsible experience in healthcare.
Preferred

Management experience in an Organ Procurement Organization
Five (5) years of management experience or progressively responsible experience in healthcare administration Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Deliver accurate knowledge of relevant laws, policies, regulations and standards affecting decisions and interpretations. Alert to changes in regulations with immediate response to changes. Physical Requirements:

Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position that is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am -4:30 pm. Hours may vary based upon the operational needs of the department.

UW Health Research Park Clinic - on Madisons west side, is an 84,000-square foot facility housing physician and rehabilitation professionals in Cardiology, Integrative Medicine, Orthopedics, Radiology, Spine and Sports Medicine.Our Fitness Center provides a resource for both working with patients while under our care and providing education after discharge.This environment creates many opportunities for face-to-face collaboration in the care of our patients.
