Do you enjoy working with people and contributing to reaching team goals?Our Agriculture Equipment Sales Representatives play an important role on our team. They develop and maintain relationships with our customers. They are knowledgeable about the products we sell and help our customers find the right solution for their needs. They create the foundation that keeps our company strong.On a daily basis, agricultural equipment sales representatives:Develop and follow up on sales leads.Secure and finalize sales information, and provide information to sales manager.Follow-up and stay in contact with each customer before, during and after the sale.Provide information to customers and future customers on products and services.Attend weekly sales meetings, share information and suggestions with sales team to ensure a coordinated effective sales effort.Keep a log of inquiries for sales and/or service, and completed sales.Attend educational seminars and trade organization shows to broaden product knowledge and selling techniques, expand business contacts, and represent Service Motor Company.Keep updated on inventory levels.Achieve acceptable gross profit as designated by Service Motor Company.Achieve attainable sales goals set by sales manager.Follow up with customer concerns.Promote Service Motor Company specials for all departments.Work effectively with manufacturer representatives and product specialists.Coordinate effectively with all internal departments including sales, parts, and service. Experience and SkillsThe right person for this job will have a dynamic personality and enjoy interacting with customers and co-workers. This person will be outgoing and self-motivated, have a competitive side that drives performance, and have a sense of urgency and timing.Job-Related Skills:Previous sales experience of any kind that you enjoyedPrevious customer service experienceAbility to read peopleAbility to adapt and pitch in anywhere neededDrive to excelPreferred Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's Degree in a Business or Agricultural/Construction related field.3-5 Years experience in a sales position.Required Qualifications:Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet customer needs.Ability to see with or without corrective lenses. Must be able to wear safety eyewear.Ability to operate equipment safely and travel to work sites, including possessing a valid driver license.The job requires an employee to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
