MP Technologies (MPT) is a world-class, nationwide turnkey construction services provider with over 40 years of experience. MP Technologies, LLC is looking for Welders with gas construction experience. This long term project - 3 to 5 years. Work locations would include: Fargo, Grand Forks, North Dakota and more! Must be willing to travel.***Work will start in the Spring 2021.Summary of Position: The welder will fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment.Duties and Responsibilities:Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at handSafety training as required by positionPaperwork filing and maintenance as neededSets current, gas pressures, and regulates pressure controlsSelects rod, wire, tips, and electrodes for specific operation to be performedWeld components in flat, vertical or overhead positionsMaintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly conditionPaperwork filing and maintenance as neededOther duties as assignedEssential Education and Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years welding experienceGood verbal communication skillsValid Driver's LicenseValid DOT Health CardPreferred Skills:Ability to read printsWelding degreeOSHA 10Physical Demands:Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
