This position is responsible for supporting IAAS engagements through data analytic tools and processes. Responsible for working closely with audit teams to create data-driven objectives that help assess and identify potential risk. This includes identifying and integrating data sources, validating control totals, and developing and executing data analytic procedures to identify risk. Primary Responsibilities: Develop data-driven objectives to assess risks and controls Learn the systems and data-sources to retrieve and validate data Use analytic tools to script/program/visualize data and objectives Communicate results and recommendations to audit teams Leverage technology to modernization and automate for the department Manage and maintain Data Analytics platforms including being a custodian of Protected information Drive Data Analytics program to grow capabilities and maturity You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Analytics, Mathematics, or related field 3+ years of Professional IT experience 3+ years of Data modeling/management/architecture 2+ year of Programming experience (e.g., C#, Java, Visual Basic, Ruby, Python, Oracle PL/SQL, R, etc.) Excellent technical and analytical skills Solid Excel skills with familiarity working with multiple file types You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location. Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Information Technology, Analytics, or Mathematics Data visualization experience (Tableau, Power BI, Crystal Reports, etc.) Internal Audit / Control Experience Experience working in a Healthcare Industry and or a complex IT environment Advanced analytics experience (SPSS, SAS, etc.) Big Data analytics experience (Hadoop) ETL Tools (SSIS, Datastage) Robotics Process Automation Experience Experience with Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure) Solid interpersonal and analytical skills while working effectively with a team Solid oral and written communication skill Desire to make a positive impact with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities UnitedHealth Group is working to create the health care system of tomorrow.
