Distribution Sales Manager
Job Description & Responsibilities
Description
The Distribution Sales Manager is the main focal point between distribution, our principals (companies we represent), and Mission Technologies, Inc. This person is responsible for achieving the objectives set by Mission and our principals for local branches of the various authorized distribution companies.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage the territory plan for distribution
- Facilitate Business Reviews on a quarterly or annual basis with each distributor contributing 10% or more to our overall distribution sales number, as required by our principals
- Achieve the distribution budget given by our principals or business growth targets as set by Mission for the company
- Distribution reports required by the Principals (lines we represent), examples may include plans, forecasts, activity updates etc.
- Create and coordinate activities between our salespeople and distribution for the purpose of driving design registrations
- Conduct joint account visits to customers on unassigned accounts or accounts that are assigned to the Distribution Manager
- Facilitate meetings between distribution management and our principals
- Lead follow up for unassigned accounts
- Continue to develop relationships with distribution by hosting group events like happy hours, lunches, other gatherings
