Electrical Engineer
Working under direct supervision of the Director of Engineering, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for new product development from beginning to end of the development cycle by providing guidance in the component selection process, prototype design and fabrication, programming if required (embedded or PC) and testing. Also, continued support of existing and legacy products.

Working under direct supervision of the Director of Engineering, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for new product development from beginning to end of the development cycle by providing guidance in the component selection process, prototype design and fabrication, programming if required (embedded or PC) and testing. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience
- Analog, digital and embedded control experience in design of electronic circuits at board level
- Knowledge of software and programming techniques
- Microsoft Office products
- Schematic/PCB design
- Simulation software
- Able to read and draw electrical schematics
- Able to troubleshoot electronic circuits
- Able to design and layout custom PCB's using electrical CAD software (CadSoft Eagle a plus)
- Familiar with common data bus architectures (I2C, RS232, SPI, USB, CAN)
- Familiar with microcontrollers and embedded firmware development (Atmel AVR a plus)
- Experience with LabView
- Experience programming HMI designs for PC's using Visual Basic, C#, Java, etc.
- Experience programming Android applications
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Knowledgeable with various types of electronic test equipment
- Able to work on projects independently with limited supervision
- Able to work on multiple concurrent projects and manage time accordingly
- Aid in maintaining UL/CSA/CE certifications for products
- Analog/Digital PCB Design
- Embedded Firmware Development (Atmel AVR, PIC, TI)
- Windows/Linux/Android Based Software Development
- Work with outside vendors to source and validate new components
- Work with the sales department to provide feedback on future upgrades and options
- Build test fixtures and, if necessary, interface with external hardware or a PC
- Help troubleshoot production issues
- Help with customer field service over the phone
