Lead Full Stack Engineer

Brooksource is searching for an ambitious Lead Full Stack Engineer to be apart of our Client's central mission to enhance their end-user experience. In this role you will have enormous bandwidth for technical and professional growth and high visibility to leadership. In addition, you will have the ability to mentor and influence other junior engineers leveraging your technical experience and expertise.

What's the role?

• You will be the lead engineer, guiding 5 mid level engineers tasked with migrating new products into the client's Content Factory, using Java and Node.JS to manipulate code and features
• Your responsibility will be split between development/coding and mentoring/leading more junior members of the team
• The Content Factory that you will be working on and developing in has far reaching visibility across the Fortune 500 organization, and is a central tenant to the client's business process
• This role will allow you to work in a supportive enterprise environment using best in class tools

What we're looking for:

• 8+ years experience with either Java or Node.JS coding languages
• Experience and knowledge supporting and migrating software on AWS Cloud platform
• Nice to haves: Drools (Rules Engine)
• Experience successfully leading others in a team lead capacity
• Strong sense of ownership and the drive to tackle cross-team projects.
• Effective communication skills: Can you explain technical solutions to both engineering and non-technical teammates?
• Team player: Are you able to bring out the best in fellow engineers?
