Welder - 2nd Shift

Manpower is hiring a 2nd shift welder for one of our top clients in North Milwaukee (73rd & Calumet). Pay based on experience $17-$21/ hour.

Responsibilities:
* Performs set-up and welding on a variety of weldments and structures following written "job instructions" or standardized methods and procedures utilizing fixtures and jigs.
* Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines to produce high quality weldments and blades for the company's lines of commercial snow and ice control products.
* Perform designated maintenance functions, assumes ownership for quality of weldments, participates in training, performs daily 6S activities, and maintains safety standards.
* Maintains good housekeeping and 6S.
* Produce quality welded components to daily production requirements.

Requirements:
* At least 3 years of welding experience
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Welding Technology Degree or Welding Technical Diploma desirable.
* Strong basic math skills and ability to read blueprints are required.
* Robotic welding experience is highly desirable.
