The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for Board level design of complex electro-mechanical systems.Main Responsibilities:Provide electrical engineering skills to troubleshoot, develop, and debug analog and digital circuitry for released product initiatives.Board level design & Schematic generation for main boards and associated controls for communicating with sensors.Implement CAN Bus, Serial Port, USB and other communication interfaces for boards.Experience in implementing Security in Hardware and firmware levels of design.Experience in mobile development, RF implementation, BLE and medical device interoperability.Design and execute test methods to characterize circuit performance and verify adherence to requirements including test automation.Design for Electrical Safety & Emissions Testing; work with external test houses for certifications.Lead and provide guidance in the development of prototypes, verification/validation units and product specifications, including embedded firmware development plans, design documentation, input to risk analyses, and formal reviews.Provide an effective bridge between software and hardware personnel and is responsible for the timely completion of the technical deliverables.Provide support to Marketing for Voice of Customer and new product launches in US and Europe.**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related Engineering field.7+ years of professional experience focused on Electrical Design in a regulated (e.g. medical device, automotive, aerospace, etc.) product development environment.Experience in C/Assembly programming language.Experience providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.Preferred Qualifications:MS or PhD degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related Engineering field.Experience with Microprocessor-based controls and hardware.Domain expertise in AER Reprocessing & Sterilization.Knowledge and experience on digital signal processing algorithms.Embedded system hardware knowledge and development environment familiarity is required.Experience in working in Android, Windows and LINUX environments.Experience in configuration and change management tools.Experience with is 61010-1, ISO 15883, IEC62304 and AAMI standards.Excellent problem solving skills, self-motivation and team cooperation & leadership skills.Able to work in global collaborating environment with varying challenges.**About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
