**Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Soldering)** Madison, WI 53704**Pay $16 per hour with retention bonus of $200 per week****PURPOSE:**+ Assembly and soldering of small components under a microscope.+ This job description covers the skills and responsibilities of the Materials Handler.+ Materials Handler are responsible for:+ Manage all types of material related transactions in company ERP system.+ Pick and Distribute materials, supplies, and subassemblies to work areas.+ Perform receiving, packing, and shipping activities as required.+ Reject product outside of specifications.+ Clean and maintain work areas.+ Communicate with all employees as needed.+ Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques and accuracy are essential.+ Have basic computer skills and understand Microsoft Office.+ Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned.**EDUCATION / DEGREE REQUIRED:**+ High School Diploma or equivalent**KEY SKILL / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:**+ Ability to work under a microscope (must have)+ Detail oriented+ Demonstrates independent decision making and sound business judgment+ Works well in teams and individually+ Fork Lift experience desired+ Good Manual Dexterity+ COMPUTER SKILLS:+ Ability to operate basic computer software programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook**EXPERIENCE:**+ Ability to work under a microscope (must have)+ Minimum two years in a manufacturing organization+ Demonstrated ability to perform assembly of small components following detailed work instructions+ Experience with ISO (international organization for standardization), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) & general quality assurance principles.**TRAINING:**+ Complete training in area of responsibility within allowed time-period.
