job summary:

A $100M regional industrial supplier is looking for a Sales Director. This role will manage about 5 territory sales reps and will be heavily involved with the management of key accounts. Although not quota carrying, this will likely be a 50/50 sales leadership/customer-facing role.

The base salary could be 110-120k plus 25% bonus potential. Stock Purchase plan, full benefits, and car/car allowance.

  • Attract, develop and retain sales leaders
  • Ensure company objectives, goals, and policies are clearly communicated
  • Provide expertise in customer interactions and assist in closing business
  • Manage through pipeline develop and CRM utilization
  • Assigns accounts among territory managers and reviews performance regularly

qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5 years sales team management experience
  • 7 years sales experience in industrial distribution, material engineering or OEM supply
  • Data-driven, autonomous, outgoing, process oriented, and fast-paced
  • Extensive CRM utilization experience
  • Player/coach mentality
  • Travel 25%
