Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve software.
• Partner with business leadership to manage product commitments in an agile framework to rapidly deliver value to our users.
• Mentor the engineering team to develop and perform as highly as possible.
• Own the applications - technology stack and drive modern solutions to complex problems.
• Relieve the team of churn and waste by introducing automation of menial tasks

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience delivering solutions in various technology roles such as Software Engineer, Scrum Master, Project Manager, Release Manager, and Business Analyst
• 5+ years of experience in a lead role.
• 2+ years of experience in management of direct reports.
• Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Willingness to support an on-call rotation escalation path
• If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals: unit testing, code reviews, telemetry, agile and DevOps
• Experience with Cloud technologies
• Health care industry experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices
