**Description:**Determine, verify, maintain, and manage detailed drawings, "as-builts," information/product specifications, etc. in our PDM systemSet up, maintain, and modify as needed, data card information, workflows, and search criteria.Perform design investigation, analyses, and CAD for new and existing buildings in the company portfolio.Design, mark up, convert from PDF format, and produce CAD drawings including general arrangement layouts (GAs) and as-builts.Illustrate systems, assemblies from specifications, source control drawings, sketches, models, and verbal instructions.Recommend and implement design changes to resolve field problems found in analyses.Evaluate design modifications to improve performance and reliability.Possess and maintain familiarity with applicable CAD systems and PDM system.Create bills of material (BOM) with the ability to manipulate electronic standard to create new/standard equipment.Assist in the assurance that drawing revisions and accuracy are maintained, quality and safety standards are met, and delivery deadlines are achieved.Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above**Skills:**Cad, Autocad, Solidworks, Bom, Pdm, bill of material, plant layout, 3d design**Top Skills Details:**3+ years of Solidworks experience around plant layouts, piping, electrical work, or similar3+ years of experience managing a CAD or PDM system3+ years creating and updating BOM's**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**Associate's degree within Mechanical Design is preferred3+ years of experience with Solidworks design/drafting3+years of CAD experience within plant layouts, piping, electrical, or lighting3+ years managing the PDM and or CAD systems2+ years creating and editing Bills of MaterialsSolidworks EPDM experience is preferred**Experience Level:**Intermediate Level**About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
