Compensation: $85000.00 to $95000.00 yearly
Robert Half HR Services is seeking a HR Manger for our manufacturing client located in southern Minnesota. In this strategic role, you will manage a small team responsible for supporting the business by promoting, communicating, and implementing HR strategies and initiatives including:
???Lead strategic internal communications which include but not limited to coordination for organizational announcements and routine town halls and all-hands meetings.
???Support the business by taking lead on actioning engagement and retention efforts.
???Lead all aspects of the HR cycle such as merit planning, benefit enrollment, talent development (succession planning/talent reviews), annual performance management cycle, etc.
???Build and maintain influential relationships by being a strategic partner with management and an employee advocate.
???Provide HR consultation and support to a designated business unit/functional area.
???Consult with business until management in the strategic planning process and development of HR strategies that support the business needs.
???Provide guidance on employment law, coordinate performance management, and resolve employee relations issues.
???Acts as an expert on HR policies and procedures such as payroll, staffing, benefits, compensation, employee development and recruiting.
???Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training manager to coach and discipline employees.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION/ LICENSE CREDENTIALS
???Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
???PHR or SPHR certification preferred
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES - SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
???Eight (8) or more years of relevant HR experience.
???Prior leadership / supervisory experience leading a small team of HR professionals.
???Ability to lead and develop HR department staff members.
