The Department of Business at Valley City State University is seeking a full time, tenure-track business faculty with an emphasis in accounting to join our team.

The primary responsibility of this position is to teach face-to-face and online courses as part of the business undergraduate degree programs. This position will also provide academic advising to an assigned group of business students. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the development of course/program curricular content in accounting, business and management fields. You will be an active participant in the department's efforts to obtain and maintain IACBE Accreditation, actively contribute during department meetings, and be involved in the university community.

Minimum Qualifications
* Master's degree in business related field and CPA designation OR
* Master's degree in business related field and at least 5 years professional and management work experience in accounting OR
* Master's degree with 18 graduate credits in accounting

Preferred Qualifications
* MBA with CPA designation or accounting experience
* Prior teaching experience in higher education
* Desire to work in a student focused environment

Compensation
The salary for this position is commensurate with qualifications, and typically ranges from $42,000 to $46,000 annually. Department of Business

The Department of Business offers Bachelor of Science Degrees in Business Administration and Business Process Integration Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Management. We offer minors in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, and Business Software Applications as well as a certificate in Professional Sales. The Business Administration major has concentrations in agribusiness, managerial accounting and finance, management & HR management, and marketing.
