Entry Level Agricultural Mechanic

Summary This full or part-time position will be responsible for servicing and maintaining farm machinery for a large farming operation. The employee will be required to keep an organized farm shop, learn and apply precision farming technology; and provide clean, well-maintained equipment in a timely manner for use in production agriculture. Duties/Responsibilities Fleet maintenance: service and repairs Creation of maintenance schedules Understanding of precision farming technology: Auto-steer and VRT application Assist in shop management In-field service calls Qualifications This position requires a person that is interested in general farm mechanics and is willing to take on responsibility. Candidates must have organizational skills and a strong work ethic. Candidate must also work well with others. It is preferred that the candidate will have good mechanical intelligence and is willing to learn. Company Background We are a large acreage farm located in the northern Red River Valley.
