Journeyman Line Worker

The City of Wadena will be accepting applications for a full-time position of Journeyman Line Worker. Duties are listed in the job description for the position.

Applicant's salary range for this position is from $5,418.40 to $6,023.33 per month dependent on qualifications, per current pay schedule.

This position requires a State of Minnesota Journeyman Line Worker License or the ability to attain one within the 6-month probationary period. Position performs skilled work in the construction, maintenance, operation and repair of the City's electrical transmission and distribution system. Job functions for this position include but are not limited to working energized voltages up to 35,000 volts, operating various utility equipment and follow all safety rules and regulations. This position requires on-call/stand-by duty and 25-minute response time to report to the Utilities Shop for outages when on duty.
