Job Summary

The senior communication specialist is responsible for developing and managing inspiring content to support the missions of Sanford Health Foundation and the Good Samaritan Foundation.

At time of application, please provide three writing samples. Responsible for developing engaging messaging and stories. Manages content for social media, email, video, web and more, as well as helping plan and produce marketing and communications materials to engage key audiences and inspire philanthropic support for the Sanford Health Foundation and the Good Samaritan Foundation.

Ensures messages are delivered in the appropriate voice and with the appropriate creative presentation, including visual imagery, videos, or graphics. Serves as a primary communication resource and expert for assigned areas of responsibility. Fosters relationships with key stakeholders. Creates simple, clear and effective communication for internal and external audiences. Creates and maintains positive working relationships with partners and stakeholders to understand priorities and needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field is required. Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's degree in communications or related field is preferred.

Minimum of three years relevant communication and/or writing experience, preferably in a large and complex corporate setting, is required.
