Join our more than 750 dedicated employees! For this role, a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer programming, business, math, statistics, or accounting is preferred but not required. Experience with data query and manipulation tools is required.  

Qualified applicant should have experience related to metering, settlement and/or financial applications. Familiarity with Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) and Southwest Power Pool (SPP) market administration processes and procedures, and knowledge of electric energy system elements and energy & power metering are preferred.

Responsibilities
Review hourly generation and load data for anomalies, investigating, documenting, and correcting those to the extent a cause can be determined. Individual is responsible for Joint Owned Unit data error minimization and addressing inquiries from partners. Develop and document the official MISO load profile record. Monitor the forecasting tool accuracy for OTP load and LBA load.  Validate accuracy of monthly MISO and SPP settlement statements.
