Division description
Green Bay Packaging Inc, is currently seeking an IT Coordinator for our Corrugated Sheet Plant Group with divisions in Fort Atkinson, Franksville, Germantown, and Waukesha WI.
Job description
Coordinates IT projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.
Responsibilities:
- Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects
- Provide advice on the most suitable IT choices
- Provide technical support or training for systems and networks
- Act as link between end users and higher level support
- Install and configure software and hardware (printers, PCs, Laptops, etc.)
- Monitor system and network performance
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration
- Performance maintenance activities
- Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules
- Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality
Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications
- Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
- Experience in network management and help desk support preferred
- BSc/BA in information technology or computer science preferred
- Certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc.) a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Initial job location will be at the GBP Fort Atkinson Division, but travel to the other SE WI Sheet plants will be required as issues and other projects arise
