Looking for a Sales Representative to help grow our Client's specialty metal fabrication business!

Golden Valley, MN


POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for new business development via outgoing sales calls, fielding incoming customer inquiries, and by creating marketing collateral for furnishing and installing custom sheet metal fabrication projects. Follow-up on inquiries to discuss part requirements, analyze customer drawings, develop relationships, and deliver a finished quote onsite or electronically. Also assist the marketing effort to pursue leads by creating marketing campaigns, cold calling, advertisements, and sending promotion content.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Pursue prospects by phone, email, and onsite visits
  • Build quality relationships with customers
  • Communicate customer needs to estimator for quoting with shop superintendent
  • Provide value-added account services for customers such as updating shipping dates, invoices, inventory tracking, production status, and technical support questions
  • Assist in the creation of relevant promotional materials for print, web, and social media
  • Attend trade shows and networking events
  • Develop new sales leads through independent research and actively prospecting daily
  • Work with internal colleagues to coordinate and execute marketing plans to increase lead generation to specific industries

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • 5 to 8 years of industrial sales experience in the metal fabrication industry required
  • High School education and above
  • Master Warm Air License preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, ambitious, people-skills, and trustworthy
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Understanding of marketing principles
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
