Public Relations/Communications Specilaist

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:Build and maintain relationships with media contactsAuthor and pitch press releases, case studies, white papers and article ideas to both industry, key customers and general news outletsEnsure all communication is cohesive with the company's brand imageManage all media requests in a timely and professional mannerAssist in arranging speaking engagements, executing conventions and community fundraising initiativesAssist with the promotion of video and multi-media materialManage internal newsletterTrack and analyze media coverage to inform future campaignsOther duties as necessary.Education and Experience:Minimum 3-5 years of experience in public relations or corporate communicationsBachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related fieldProven ability to develop, implement and execute successful public relations campaignsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsetExcellent oral, written and proofreading skillsExperience working with cross-functional teams both internal and external to the businessCapable of managing multiple open project at one timeWe offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including, medical, dental, vision, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401k with a company match.
