Located in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, this Controller position will be on a long-term temporary basis. This Controller opportunity is for candidates who would be comfortable in a position where they will manage the process to ensure that models are correct and are fully accrued each month, verify and hold the operations team accountable to ensure end to end incentive processing, payments, accounting and related financial controls are operating effectively.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Collation of evidence and qualitative discussion of monthly financial results across global programs to support SOX controls

- Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes and tools for the accountable programs

- Confirm familiarity of key financial results and movements across programs to summarize and discuss with key business partners

- Recognize key financial results and movements across programs, then summarize and discuss them with key business partners

- Engage with various business partners for various program controllership and FP& A activities such as ensuring accuracy of accrual models, appropriate accounting and true-up activities and answer queries from business, area and subsidiary controllers

- Ongoing monitoring of actual spend against budget, as well as leading actions needed for any expected shortfalls

- Analyze and oversee controls to ensure they are effectively designed and operating in partnership with compliance

- Work closely with Treasury to provide timely cash flow forecasts

Job Requirements:
- Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

- Ability to manage, lead change and build process improvements

- Proven ability to provide leadership across finance team by engaging with different groups around the world via virtual communication

- Aptitude for communication and negotiation, building trusted advisor/consultant relationships and influencing Executives and Business Decision Makers

- Budget management experience

- Earlier work involving Daily Cash Management

- Solid understanding of Monthly Financial Statements

- Prior experience with financial statements consolidation

- Previous experience working with Profit Loss

- Wide ranging experience with cash management

- Annual Budget experience desired

- Well-founded grasp of grant accounting

- Knowledge of HUD

- Experience with Government Grants

- Skills in Nonprofit Organizations

- Budget forecasting experience

- Well-founded grasp of Prepare Annual Budgets

- General familiarity with Annual Internal Audit

- Deep understanding of Foundation Grants

- Proven knowledge of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

- Practical knowledge of Audit Management

- Comprehension of Financial Statement

- Foundational knowledge in Federal Grant

- Good understanding of non-profit fund accounting

- Foundational knowledge in budgeting

- Hands-on experience with financial statement preparation

- Knowledge of Annual Operating Budget

- Quality experience with Audit Reports

- Experience with Financial Statement Audits

- Proven knowledge of Managing Budgets

- Solid understanding of Year-end Financial Statements

- General familiarity with Grant Management

- Qualified in office and accounting computer systems

- Working knowledge of ERP system

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field

- CPA and/or CMA preferred

- 7+ years professional accounting and controllership or public accounting and internal controls experience and/or Internal Audit or Controls and Compliance
