Electrical Engineer Specialist Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation for the Electrical Designer in Eagan, MN is between $75,000 and $90,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Electrical Designer Specialist Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and preparation of electrical plans, elevations and sections to represent the electrical design construction layout.
• Strong understanding of NEC & NFPA codes
• Responsible for the understanding of project information from the design team, estimators, projects managers and collecting field data.
• Responsible for power systems design of industrial projects such as food & beverage, Oil & Gas, manufacturing, Grain, feed, flower, and fertilizer.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.

Electrical Designer Specialist Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical Design and/or drafting or equivalent experience
• 5+ years working for an Electrical Design/Build Contractor designing industrial projects.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, Navisworks and BIM360
• Electrical field experience is highly preferred.
