Job Description

A Software Technician is responsible for completing the following duties:
  • Troubleshoot, install and repair various software systems
  • Maintain required performance and maintenance records
  • Attend training sessions at customer and vendor locations
  • Service instruments and/or electronic equipment
  • Warranty work, annual inspections, and emergency service work
  • Equipment testing to check operation
  • 90% overnight weekday travel
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Required to have a valid State Driver's License
  • Moderate to a high-level computer, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Successfully pass and maintain state and manufactures required certifications
  • Appropriate weights and measures permit is a plus
  • A basic understanding of hydraulic principles, electrical and computer skills
  • HS Graduate or equivalent
  • Tech/trade school training is a plus

  • Perform all work in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to work safely with flammable liquids
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
  • Willing to travel and be gone during the week and go out for emergency service on weekends when needed
  • Turn in all paperwork daily or after each job as required
  • Ability to work independently
