This is a full-time, 40 hours a week, salary position. The shifts are typically 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Scope:

  • Develop and execute internal sales plans for various divisions within the organization.
  • Identify and understand the individual needs of current residents or patients who may need help navigating services within the organization and ensure seamless transitions to new levels of care throughout the KN continuum.
  • Create and deliver continuous education to internal staff to ensure awareness of new and existing services and keep informed on internal referral processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute internal sales plans for various divisions within the organization. In collaboration with various division & community leaders and VP of Sales, identify specific tactics to create and execute sales plans to meet determined objectives and deliverables. This includes senior housing, short-term rehab, care center, home care, hospice, wellness, and outpatient therapy services.
  • Identify the individual needs of current residents or patients who may need help navigating services within the organization and ensure seamless transitions to new levels of care.

    Act as the main point of contact for resident families as it is related to additional or increased care needs. Collaborate with families and other internal staff to determine appropriate levels of care. Establish best practices within our communities to regularly round with residents and staff to identify needs and make appropriate referrals to other lines of business, as necessary. Cross-promote other services when identified and ensure seamless transitions throughout the continuum. Ensure timely documentation in Knute Nelson’s CRM for effective pipeline management and efficient hand-offs to other staff.
  • Create and deliver continuous education to internal staff to ensure awareness of new and existing services and keep informed on internal referral processes. Ensure new services and offerings are communicated effectively to internal staff. Responsible for the creation of training presentations, sales & educational collateral. Education will be done 1-1 or group settings, requiring effective public speaking abilities. Develop best practices and standards for internal referrals between business lines.
  • Interpersonal Communication/Problem Solving Adopts communication styles appropriate to the listeners and situation. Works effectively with others to resolve conflict in a constructive way that builds relationships and drives results.

Understands that the customer extends beyond the patient and family, including community partners and referral sources, etc. Consistently develops and sustains mutually beneficial working relationships. Is accessible and provides prompt resolution to concerns or problems.

Identifies what needs to be done and proactively acts to accomplish objectives and achieve individual & organization goals and priorities. Promotes a positive culture and working environment within the organization. Inspires, motivates, encourages, and guides others toward goal accomplishment.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of sales & customer service experience required. Preferably with experience creating and executing sales plans.
  • Experience creating and delivering trainings highly recommended. Including experience with public speaking.
  • Must complete and pass a state required background study.
  • Must have adequate computer skills.
  • Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
  • Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors.
